Hey everyone! I just got my hands on a PS3, but I’m a bit lost when it comes to connecting it to the internet. It keeps asking me for the SSID and WAP, and I’m not sure what those are. Also, since I already have a PS5 and would like to use the same account on my PS3, any tips on that would be super helpful. Thanks a ton!

You’re right about the SSID being your WiFi name. As for the ‘WAP’, you might mean WEP or WPA, which are the security types. WPA2 is usually the best option for security. If you pick the Easy mode for setup, it should automatically find your network. Just follow the prompts after that!
To connect your PS3 to WiFi, head to Settings > Network Settings > Internet Connection Settings. You’ll need to find your WiFi network name (that’s the SSID) and choose the right security type, which is usually WPA2 for most home networks. Just enter your WiFi password and you should be good to go!

Thanks for the tips! I’ll give it a shot.
