How do I complete the Rise of Iron campaign in Destiny 1?

-

I’m trying to finish the Rise of Iron campaign in the original Destiny game. When I look at my quests, there’s one called “To Await the Call” that says I need to finish the Rise of Iron campaign and there’s a checkbox for “campaign complete,” but no details on how to actually complete the campaign. Can someone explain how to finish it or where to find the quest steps?

Basically, the campaign completion checkbox gets ticked after you finish all the main story missions of Rise of Iron. If you don’t see detailed steps in the quest called “To Await the Call”, that’s because it’s a different questline. Try checking your other quests for one named “Rise of Iron” which guides you through the actual campaign missions and objectives.

The quest called “To Await the Call” isn’t actually the Rise of Iron campaign quest. It’s the start of the Year 3 Gjallarhorn exotic quest chain, not the campaign itself. To complete the Rise of Iron campaign, you want to look for a separate quest simply titled “Rise of Iron.” That should have all the mission objectives for the campaign.

Oh, I see! So that Gjallarhorn quest is unrelated. Thanks for clearing that up!

Just a heads up, “To Await the Call” is tied to the Gjallarhorn exotic quest, so it’s a separate storyline from the campaign. If you want to finish the Rise of Iron campaign, you’ll need to focus on the quest labeled exactly that. It tends to be easy to overlook since it doesn’t always pop up as prominent as the Gjallarhorn quest.
