I joined a session of Eviction Notice just after 3 minutes of its start, according to the World Activity box. I’m on PS4, so everything takes forever to load—like about 20-30 seconds for fast travel and another 20-30 for things to load in before I could set up my armor. I can barely get set up, and then all of a sudden, I see the “Event Completed” pop-up! What? It had only been, at most, 6 minutes since the event started. I thought these events always lasted 10 minutes after the rad scrubber was repaired at the beginning. Can anyone explain this?

It’s also worth noting that there can be glitches or exploits that let people finish events way faster. I wouldn’t say you missed it on purpose; it just might be that those players knew some tricks to clear it out quicker than usual!
It sounds like you joined the event right at the end. Sometimes, if you’re late to join, you might miss the bulk of the event because players who are already in there can complete it faster than the time counters suggest. Maybe the others got in early and blitzed through it before you could even start loading in!
Yeah, I’ve experienced the same thing! It feels like you get penalized for loading times, especially on PS4. Sometimes, certain events just get done quickly if a strong team is in there foraging and battling through everything.
Haha, I wouldn’t be surprised! I’m still trying to figure out the ins and outs of 76, especially when it comes to events.
