Smurfing has made a strong return in ranked games. I’m wondering if we could implement a system where, before accepting a match, players can see how many times each player has been reported for smurfing in their last 20 matches. This way, we could choose to queue again if we feel the match quality isn’t good enough.

I think we should have a similar approach for players with a negative KDA over their last 20 games. It would help avoid the 1-15 players who blame their carries for not contributing. I’d actually prefer facing smurfs if it meant avoiding these guys. It’s more enjoyable to play against skilled opponents, especially in the ~6k bracket!
Totally agree! We should also track those carries who spend too much time jungling, especially if they’re not contributing to the team. If a player spends over 15 minutes in the jungle in the first 20 minutes, that’s a red flag. I’m always frustrated when my carry leaves the lane so early and then blames me for not getting kills!
