I’m looking for suggestions on how to enhance the tempering feature in the game. I was thinking of a couple of ideas: First, what if we had dynamic scaling for tempering that adjusts based on player progression? Like, a higher number of attempts in Torment mode compared to easier difficulties. Secondly, we could introduce a method to enhance items with a guaranteed success but with some challenges or risks. For example, players might have to defeat a boss or complete specific tasks to unlock 100% success on tempering. What do you think?

One idea could be to make tempering scrolls rare drops that players actually get excited about. Currently, the RNG can be frustrating, so why not let players use a scroll to apply a specific temper instead of relying only on manuals? It would be great if temper attempts were capped at one so players can’t farm unlimited scrolls for max results. This way, getting a rare scroll feels rewarding without making tempering too easy!
I totally agree! Infinitely applying scrolls will over-saturate the game. Adding more attempts per item with the right rarity can maintain proper risk versus reward without breaking the system.
