Hey everyone! I’m new to the world of PC gaming and I’m trying to learn everything I can about upgrading my hardware. I’m curious about RAM upgrades specifically. Is it a good idea to boost my existing two RAM sticks to 6000MHz? Also, is it possible to use a total of four 6000MHz sticks in my setup? I want to make sure that my motherboard can support it. Here are my current specs for reference:
– **Case:** Hyte Y60
– **Processor:** AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core @ 4.5GHz
– **GPU:** ASUS NVIDIA Geforce RTX 4060 Ti
– **Memory:** T-Force Delta 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 5200MHz
– **Storage:** Kingston NV2 2TB M.2 SSD
– **Motherboard:** ASUS Prime B650M-A AX6
– **PSU:** High Power HP1-J600GD-F12S 600W 80+ Gold
Thanks for any tips you can offer!

When it comes to RAM, the most important aspect is having enough of it. Since you’re currently using 32GB, you’ll likely be fine sticking with that unless you’re maxing it out frequently. Upgrading to 6000MHz might not give you a noticeable performance boost either. Also, having four sticks of 6000MHz might not work well with your memory controller—it usually supports lower speeds like 4800MHz or 5200MHz if you’re using four sticks. Just monitor your RAM usage and upgrade if you start bottlenecking.
Noted. Thank you!
