I’m looking for advice on how to tell if a physical PS4 game is actually sealed, specifically for region 2 (Europe, Middle East, etc.). I’ve noticed that there’s usually a ribbon around the box that displays the PS4 logo multiple times. However, I’ve seen some games that have the PlayStation logo printed on that ribbon instead. Are those legitimate? Also, I think I figured it out—apparently, the logo has changed since around 2020, so newer games come with the PlayStation logo on the ribbons. Just trying to get some clarity on this!

If the game is completely wrapped in plastic and you can’t open the box, it should be considered sealed. Just make sure that everything looks intact!
As long as there’s still plastic on it, who cares what logo is on the ribbon? Just focus on whether the game works when you get it!
But why would I want to pay extra if there’s a chance I’m getting scammed? It’s better to be cautious.
Yes, that’s what I thought too. But I’m used to seeing the PS4 logo on the ribbon. This new logo is throwing me off, so it’s good to know! Maybe they switched it up since 2020.
