I just got my girlfriend interested in Pokémon Go, and I want to trade her some shinies and legendaries from my stash. Unfortunately, she’s running low on stardust and doesn’t plan to play consistently enough to wait for the 30-day trade cooldown. Is there any way to boost her friendship level quickly so we can make these trades sooner?

Just to clarify, earning a friendship point doesn’t equate to leveling up in one go. You’ll need to trade or do the same activities each day to progress. There’s no way around that hard limit!
If she isn’t that into the game yet, maybe reassess whether she really wants those shinies. It might be better to wait until she’s more invested and playing regularly.
She needs to play at least a couple of minutes a day to gradually boost friendship. There’s really no shortcut to bypass the friendship level system.
Unfortunately, there’s a strict limit of one friendship point earned per day. The only exception is during special events where you might earn two points a day, but there aren’t any upcoming events with that bonus announced yet.
