I’m trying to figure out how to play two games at once on my PlayStation consoles. I have PlayStation Plus Premium and want to enjoy Oblivion in one room while my son plays Sackboy in another. I’ve seen lots of videos, but they all seem confusing. Can someone help clarify how to set this up?

You totally need two accounts for this! Set up your son’s account as a child account and then enable game sharing from your main account. Just be careful with spending too much on your account while setting parental controls, so he can’t go wild with your card.
It sounds like you and your son are using the same PSN account on both consoles, and that’s why you’re having trouble. Each of you needs separate accounts. Create a new account for your son and use game sharing from your main account so he can access your library.
Make sure one of your consoles is set as the primary. This way, your son can play games from your account while you play on yours. Just remember that only one console can play digitally downloaded games online at any time if they’re on the same account.
If both consoles are PS5s, you can’t play two separate games on one account at the same time unless one person is using a game that’s cross-play, like Fortnite on one console while the other plays Oblivion. So yeah, get separate accounts for the best experience!
Yeah, it’s essential for each to have their own accounts to avoid issues like this. Once you have that sorted, you can both game without problems!
