I’ve set up family profiles to manage my kids’ playtime, and that’s working great. However, I noticed that kids can log in as guests without creating an account, and I’m not sure how to restrict that playtime effectively. Is there a way to limit guest accounts or prevent their use altogether?

I’ve been in this situation too, and honestly, it comes down to trust and communication with the kids. I leave guest login open for their friends, so they can play together. My kids understand that using the guest login can lead to losing their playtime privileges, so they typically avoid it. As much as we try to set rules, kids can find ways to push boundaries, so it’s good to stay vigilant!
To limit guest access on your PS5, you can go to Settings > Family and Parental Controls > PS5 Console Restrictions. There, you can set the option for “User Creation and Guest Login” to “Not Allowed.” This should help you manage guest accounts and keep control over playtime.
