I’m using a Predator Helios Neo 16 with an i7 13700HX and a 4060 GPU, and it’s really heating up while gaming. I’m based in Delhi, where the temperature is climbing—currently around 33 degrees Celsius. My laptop hits about 70-75 degrees during gameplay, which seems a bit too high. The fans are also quite noisy, and I’m looking for ways to keep the temperature down. Would a cooling pad help? If so, could you recommend some good options? Please don’t suggest undervolting, as Acer has locked that feature. I appreciate any help I can get!

It’s good to know that 70-75C is generally okay for your laptop, especially since you mentioned it’s not over a year old. A cooling pad could definitely help lower those temps a bit, especially with the heat you’re dealing with in Delhi. Just make sure to pick a decent one!
I bought my laptop in October 2023, so it’s still pretty new. I’m currently using a low-cost esports cooling pad, but it hasn’t made much of a difference. I had it during the winter without issues, but now I can feel the heat more.
