I’m having some major performance issues while gaming on Fedora Kinoite, especially compared to my Windows setup. I suspect the problem may be linked to my Nvidia graphics card since the same games run significantly better on my laptop, which lacks a dedicated graphics card but also runs Kinoite. I followed the RPM Fusion guide to install the Nvidia drivers, but I’m not sure what to do next. As a complete newbie to Linux, how can I troubleshoot and identify the source of my performance problems?

If you’re new to Linux, consider using Bazzite for gaming. It’s designed specifically for Fedora Kinoite with additional tweaks that might help your situation. It could simplify your experience as a beginner.
You might want to try installing Bazzite Linux. Just a heads up, there’s a known bug with Nvidia drivers that causes lower performance right now, but the Bazzite version could help you manage that better.
Is it just a temporary bug, or do we know what’s causing it?
