I’ve been tweaking my settings based on GeForce Experience, which recommended running Borderlands 3 on ultra graphics. While my average frame rate is still decent, between 90 and 120 fps, I’ve noticed my 1% lows can drop to as low as 38 fps. I want to find a way to fix this issue without having to compromise too much on the visual quality. Here are my specs:
– Monitor: 3440×1440 144Hz 21:9
– CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
– GPU: RTX 3080 (with a recommended overclock from GeForce Experience)

Your setup is solid, but with ultra settings, it’s a lot to push at 3440×1440. You might want to consider lowering your settings to high or medium. The performance dips on 1% lows can be more disruptive than the difference between getting 70 vs 90 fps. Dropping the settings could help stabilize that 1% low.
I tried lowering to high, but I still experienced some jittery 1% lows. My rig handles Cyberpunk on high pretty well, so I thought Borderlands 3 would be fine too.
