I’m trying to connect my PS5 to a monitor that supports 1440p and 144Hz, but it only has DisplayPort 1.2 and no HDMI 2.1. I’m on the hunt for a solution to achieve 120Hz at 1440p on this setup. I heard there are HDMI 2.1 to DisplayPort 1.2 cables or converters that might work, but the experiences I’ve read from a few years back suggest that not all cables of this type perform equally. Can anyone recommend a reliable cable or converter that guarantees 120Hz at 1440p for my monitor? For reference, here’s the monitor I’m using: [Dell S2716DG](https://www.amazon.com/Dell-S2716DG-Gaming-Computer-Monitor/dp/B072DV4KCP).

You definitely need a powered HDMI to DisplayPort adapter. I had a similar issue, and the one I bought required power from a USB to function properly. I found one on Amazon that seemed to do the trick—just check the reviews for 120Hz support! I can’t remember the exact model, though—wish I could!

Have you tested it on a 1440p 120Hz setup? Just wondering if it works as advertised!
