I’ve been reading that one way to recruit Minthara in Baldur’s Gate 3 is by knocking her out, but I’ve also seen claims that this method might not actually work. Some folks suggest completing her mission instead, but I really want to protect the people in the grove and see them through to Act 2. What’s the best approach to get Minthara on my team without leading to disaster for the grove?

If you’re worried about Halsin, just so you know, bringing Minthara doesn’t mess things up too much. A few people have mentioned that he doesn’t really need a tent anyway, and he’s fine hanging around even without one. Just knock her out and you’ll be all good to go!
Honestly, there’s a lot of conflicting info out there because Larian has changed stuff around so much. It used to be nearly impossible to recruit her, but if you knock her out at the goblin camp, it’s doable now! I’ve managed to do it multiple times with no issues.
Yeah, knocking Minthara out should totally work! It’s one of the intended ways to recruit her. Just make sure you do it before she calls reinforcements or becomes permanently hostile. It’s been patched since the early days when it was a total mess to recruit her, and now it’s pretty straightforward. Go for it!
