Hey everyone, I’m using Garukhan’s Flight for some solid defense, but I’m in a bit of a bind. I need to socket four blue gems for my Arcanist Brand and three curses. The boots have a requirement of 142 Dexterity and 155 Intelligence, but it seems like the crafting bench method isn’t getting me anywhere. Every time I try to span it out for ‘minimum three blue sockets’, I keep getting B+B+B+G instead. Any advice on how to reliably get those four blue sockets? Thanks in advance!

Here’s a useful Chromatic Calculator link: [https://siveran.github.io/calc.html](https://siveran.github.io/calc.html). It might help you figure things out more clearly.
Just a heads-up, it looks like the boots actually have a requirement of 117 Dexterity, not 142/155 like you thought. That means rolling four blue sockets naturally could be pretty tough. If you already have three blue sockets, your best bet is to drop it back down to three, then craft it to four and hope for a blue. It’ll take a few tries, but it’s definitely more reliable than just spamming chromes.
A calculator I used says you should average around 20 chromatic orbs to get four blue sockets. You might want to throw a few more chromes at it without using the crafting bench. Also, double-check your stat requirements; they didn’t quite match what I saw on the wiki.
Forget the bench, just keep using chromatics instead! That’s what I’d say, though I haven’t tried the calculator myself. It might end up being a better strategy for you.
To get those four blue sockets, you can work between having three and four sockets until you hit the right one. Start by crafting it to three sockets, then switch back and forth like that. If you’re starting from two sockets, it might save you some chromes instead of wasting them all at once.
Good advice! I’d recommend you to aim for three sockets first, then use three blue gems, that way you can maximize your chances.
Yeah, I noticed that you posted the wrong requirements! The average cost ends up being about 1448.5 chromatic orbs using the three blue method, and that’s not great. Going for the Jeweller Method is actually your best bet!
