I’ve had a PC for a few months but mostly stuck to playing Overwatch on console. Now I want to switch to keyboard and mouse, but I’m struggling with aiming and just can’t seem to get the hang of it. Is the best way to learn just to keep playing? I feel like there might be better approaches! Also, I need some tips on DPI and sensitivity settings because I’m completely lost on that front.

I read that it took a top widowmaker from console around 1.5 years to fully adjust to mouse and keyboard! So, don’t worry if it feels tough at first. Just keep practicing, and you’ll get used to moving and aiming together eventually. Good luck!
Honestly, it’s just all about practice! The more you play, the better your aim will get over time. There’s really no quick fix, so don’t get discouraged. For DPI and sensitivity, just find settings that feel comfortable to you. You want something that’s quick enough for movement but allows you to aim precisely too. Experiment a bit and find your sweet spot.
You should definitely play around with your DPI settings. I recommend adjusting your in-game sensitivity in small increments. It helps get comfortable with aiming while also mastering movement. Like I said, it just takes some time to get used to it!
Welcome to the KBM struggle! I picked up Overwatch on PC after using a controller too, and it was rough at first. I found that practicing against AI matches takes off some pressure while helping you get used to the controls. Make sure to check out tutorial videos too—they’re super helpful!
Yeah, videos can really help! I learned a lot from watching pros demonstrate their setups.
Totally agree! Starting with a lower sensitivity helped me gain more control, and practice definitely builds muscle memory.
