I’m really struggling with flickering issues while playing Oblivion Remastered. The game looks fantastic when my camera is still, but as soon as I start moving it, various objects like textures, grass, and foliage start flickering in brightness, especially with changing lighting and weather effects. It’s super distracting, and I can’t enjoy the game. I’ve tried playing on different monitors and my TV, and the flickering is still there. I tinkered with settings like DLSS, but nothing seems to help. Any ideas on how to fix this?

It really sounds like a hardware issue to me. If you can, try playing on a different setup and see if the problem persists.
It sounds like you might be experiencing VRR flicker. I suggest checking out some online resources or videos about it to see if what you’re facing matches up. Personally, I’ve had some slight flickering on my new OLED, but it’s not too bothersome.
Have you tried turning off any FreeSync or G-Sync settings? Sometimes those options can cause flickering issues with certain games. It’s worth a shot to see if it makes any difference for you!
Honestly, I think this might not be just a game or settings issue—it could be something with your TV or monitors. If you’re looking for a fix, OLED screens are generally great for this kind of problem. Also, make sure your monitor has low response times, like 1ms, if you decide to upgrade.
What games are you playing, by the way? And do you know what version of DLSS you’re using? The flickering might be linked to your monitor settings too, so tweak those if you can!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll look into VRR flicker and see if that’s what’s happening.
