Hey everyone, I’ve been using EmuDeck to play old games from NES up to Wii, all stored on a 1TB MicroSD card. The problem is, whenever I play PS1 or PS2 games, I notice some stuttering during gameplay. I’m wondering if this might be due to some settings I haven’t tweaked yet. Could someone share the best setup or tweaks to get smoother performance on these emulators? Thanks in advance!

What kind of SD card are you using? Sometimes, the speed of your SD card can impact how smoothly games play, especially when asset streaming from the disc is involved. For instance, slower cards might not keep up with the game’s data demands, causing stutters.
Most of the time, stuttering like that happens if the FPS limit is turned on or set incorrectly through the Quick Access Menu (that’s the ‘…’ button on your device). Double-check that your frame rate isn’t being capped there—it can cause choppiness if it’s set too low or inconsistently.
I’m using a Micro SD 1TB Amazon Basics MicroSDXC, A2 U3 rated with up to 100 MB/s read speed. Hope that helps clarify!
