I recently changed my Xbox display setting to 120Hz, but now it won’t connect to my 60Hz monitor. I’ve already removed the 120Hz setting, but the console still doesn’t display properly on the 60Hz screen. Is there a way to reset or fix this so I can use my Xbox with the 60Hz monitor again?

You’ll want to fully power down your Xbox first. Unplug it from the outlet for about 30 seconds to clear any cached settings. Then, to reset the display, hold down the Xbox power button and the controller’s sync button at the same time until you hear a beep. Keep holding until a second beep sounds and the power light starts flashing. When you release the buttons, your Xbox should boot up with basic video settings that work with most screens. This should let you get back to 60Hz on your monitor.
Honestly, if your screen is 60Hz, you have to run your Xbox at 60Hz as well or it won’t display properly. If you tried switching back but it still doesn’t work, the reset method mentioned above usually solves it. Without access to a 120Hz monitor to switch settings properly, try the button combo reset to force the Xbox to default video mode.
Yeah, I don’t have a 120Hz monitor to switch back on. Tried just changing the settings but no luck.
