I recently set up my new camp at Saratoga Rocks, which is the highest point in the game. I really love the 360-degree view, but there’s a downside: when players load in, they often end up stuck on the side of the mountain and can easily break their legs. While I can just use a jetpack to get back up, I want my visitors to have a better experience. I’ve tried placing some flooring lower down on the mountain, but it didn’t let me. Does anyone have tips on how to solve this problem?

From my experience, moving your camp module around can help with spawn points. I have a camp on a cliff, and I’ve had to tweak the position a lot to prevent falls. It’s trial and error, but I find that keeping the vendor in view helps too!
Your spawn point is usually about 10 paces northeast of your CAMP module. Play around with the positioning and rotation of the module to find a safer landing spot. You can move it in build mode without impacting the overall build area too much!
One thing to remember is that players sometimes load before your camp fully appears, causing them to fall if there’s nothing to land on. Make sure to position your camp module so they can safely land on the mountain, or they’ll just end up falling through the air until it loads. Definitely do a few tests after you set it up!
You can actually control where you spawn by adjusting your CAMP module. If you’re appearing too far in one direction, just move the module slightly in the opposite direction through the camp builder. It might take a few tweaks to get it right, but it’s worth the effort!
Yeah, I do the same! It’s really helpful to test different fast travel points to see how the load-in goes. I changed my layout so people spawn with the vendor in sight, which adds to the experience.
