So, I let my brother use my PC to play Fortnite since he only has a Switch. Unfortunately, he decided to download hacks, and now I think he either got my account banned or gave me a virus—my PC is running slow, and every time I try to play Fortnite, I get stuck on the loading screen saying I’m banned. I deleted and redownloaded the game and even made a new account with a VPN, but that one got banned too. I’m looking to sell my PC soon, and I know a HWID ban could ruin that. I’ve read online that I might need to swap out my SSD or motherboard or use a HWID spoofer app. Any advice would be super helpful, thanks!

Honestly, it sounds like swapping out some hardware might be the only surefire way to fix this. Epic Games doesn’t usually lift bans easily, so it’s worth considering. For selling purposes, your motherboard is key since that’s what your HWID is mostly tied to.
So do I need to replace both my motherboard and SSD, or just one of them?
