I’ve heard about this new “happy ghast” mob that’s supposed to appear in Minecraft, and I’m really eager to find one in my survival world. I’ve spent hours searching in the soul sand biome among all the bones since that’s where they’re supposed to spawn, but I haven’t seen a single one. I even switched to creative mode to spawn it manually but couldn’t find it in the menu or summon it with commands. I’ve also tried enabling all experimental features but no luck. I’m playing on Bedrock edition by the way. Has anyone had success finding or spawning the happy ghast, or is it not available on Bedrock yet?

From what I’ve seen, the happy ghast hasn’t been added to Bedrock yet. It might be part of upcoming snapshots or experimental features that are only available on Java Edition, so that’s probably why you can’t find or summon it in your world.
Yeah, you need to be playing on the latest snapshot to encounter the happy ghast. On Bedrock, especially consoles, snapshots can be tricky because they aren’t officially supported or easy to access like on Java. That’s likely why you’re not seeing it yet.
Oh man, that explains it. Do you know if there’s any way to get snapshots on consoles, or is it just a no-go for now?
