I’ve been struggling with Doom’s ultimate ability in my matches, and I’m wondering if there are any effective counters out there. It feels like I always end up dying when he uses it, no matter what I try. Any tips or strategies?

Having a support with shielding items or abilities can be super helpful. I once saved my carry by using Vengeful Spirit’s swap, which gave them enough of a shield to survive Doom’s ult. Always good to have a backup plan when facing Doom!
One of the best counters to Doom’s ult is the Linken’s Sphere; it can block the initial attack. You can also use Eul’s Scepter—if you time it right, it can save you from some of the incoming damage. Another option is the Lotus Orb, which reflects the ability back to Doom and can really mess with his head! If you’re using Sange & Yasha, keep in mind it reduces the duration you’re under Doom by 20%, but you’ll still take full damage, so it’s a bit of a gamble.
