Hey, I’m a League of Legends player from LAS server, stuck in Silver 1 and Bronze. I’m often ahead in levels by about 3 compared to the enemy jungler because I farm their jungle, kill them, and pressure lanes by taking towers or kills. Despite this, my teammates frequently feed heavily (like bot lane 0/20 or mid 2/6) and quickly lose the game after fights or dragons. Even when I help my ADC get kills or create advantages, the team throws it away and blames me if things go wrong. I’ve reviewed replays and practiced a lot, but I still can’t seem to carry my games alone. What strategies or mindset changes can help me actually carry games when my teammates keep messing up?

It might help to switch your focus a bit. Sometimes you’re so good that you need to hold back some of your plays to let your teammates get some shine and carry confidence. Instead of diving in hard, try peel for your best player or shut down the enemy’s strongest carry. Especially in low elo, controlling one enemy threat or enabling your own strongest teammate can be more effective than trying to 1v9.
Honestly, just putting the enemy jungler behind isn’t enough if you don’t turn that advantage into actual objectives. Focus on macro plays—after shutting down the enemy jungler, try to push for dragons, Rift Herald, or turret plates, so your team gains map control and gold. Use pings often and try to take the initiative to lead your teammates into these objectives since people in low elo sometimes need direction to follow.
Yeah, I’ve been focusing a lot on farming enemy jungle and knocking down towers when I can. I try to prioritize that before fighting, but in teamfights I get stuck between protecting my ADC and surviving, and often die early. Still working on that balance.
One big factor is patience and choosing your fights wisely. If your teammates often just throw in random fights or around objectives like dragons, it might be better to avoid forcing fights and just secure vision and objectives carefully. Also, try to communicate and ping safer play routes or when to back off. Sometimes the team throws because of bad timing, not just bad plays. So improving map awareness and knowing when to back off can help in low elo carry situations.
That makes sense, but sometimes it feels like the top laner is the real carry and I’m not sure how to help if he’s the only one doing well. The low skill level in LAS means things can get really messy.
