Hey everyone! I’m looking for some advice on my melee rogue build as I’m currently playing in T3 eternal. I can clear nightmare dungeons pretty easily, but I’m not feeling 100% confident it will hold up in T4. I decided to go for the melee rogue fantasy, but I’m not a fan of imbuement spamming; instead, I opted for the basic abilities, using Invigorating Strike for its lucky hit potential and staggering effects.
I realize my build isn’t perfect—my glyphs are under-leveled, my paragon board isn’t fully fleshed out, and I don’t have all my skill points just yet. I’m reaching out to see if anyone can offer insights on improving my build. Specifically, am I using the best aspects? Is Shard of Varathiel a good fit? Should I consider Pitfighter’s Gull? What’s the best approach for maximizing my damage output—should I stick to one damage type or mix it up? And lastly, how can I effectively add more AoE to my attacks? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to consider switching your key passive to Momentum since you’re not utilizing any Marksman skills at the moment. Plus, having the legendary node for Tricks of the Trade isn’t helping either. I suggest swapping your Amulet for Adaptability and moving Moonrise to a 2H weapon while letting go of Rapid. As for Pitfighter’s Gull, it’s worth a shot—if it fits your playstyle, then go for it! Trying out different aspect combinations could be beneficial too!
Thanks for the insight! I’m actually using the Mired Sharpshooter aspect, which makes my caltrops a Marksman skill. This activates my passive and Tricks of the Trade, then applies Vulnerable and boosts damage in that area, so it’s been working for me. I’m considering shifting my aspects around based on your suggestions.
