I’ve been struggling hard in Stadium, especially against Reinhardt. I’ve lost 8 matches in a row, and it seems like Rein is always there, getting healed by Mercy. I’ve improved my gameplay by focusing on an aggressive wound build, but I still need tips to really overcome a Reinhardt. I can’t reliably win in direct 1v1s unless all my buffs are active, which is rare. It’s frustrating because I’m stuck with teammates who often don’t help out, further complicating things, so I’m looking for focused strategies specifically for facing Reinhardt without relying on my team’s help. I’m a Diamond/Masters player, and I just want to know what I can do to conquer this matchup!

I’d recommend practicing the jump with your axe lunge. It gives you a slight mobility boost that might help you dodge his hits. Might feel tiny, but every little bit helps when you’re in a tough spot against a Rein!
You should definitely try using the full aggressive build with double chop and axe lunge combo. It’s all about avoiding direct confrontations with Reinhardt when possible. Focus on hitting the backline instead of going straight for him. This can help you avoid his big attacks while still contributing to the fight. Just keep practicing that maneuvering!
Just be careful of his lunge; even if you’re focusing on the backline, keep an eye on his movements. You can still get caught off guard!
It’s all about positioning! Don’t engage him head-on unless necessary. Instead, try to flank him or wait for your cooldowns if you do challenge him directly. Timing your axe lunge can help you dodge his attacks while dealing damage. Just be patient and find the right moment to strike.
Yeah, that double chop is game-changing against a Rein! I’ve been trying that too, and it really helps create openings.
