Hey everyone! I’ve been diving into healing in low-level dungeons and honestly, it’s feeling pretty dull. It seems like I’m mostly just getting carried through all the content, which makes it less enjoyable. Unlike DPS who can keep things exciting with damage or tanks who can pull huge packs, healing feels pretty limited to just occasionally healing and dealing a bit of damage. I’m curious, what do you guys do to make healing more fun in these low-level scenarios?

Honestly, I don’t think there’s much fun to be had in low-level dungeons as a healer. It often feels like it’s all about speed runs and efficiency over anything else. I miss the days where I could take my time and enjoy each dungeon!
If you’re looking for a real challenge while leveling as a healer, try to get into an undergeared party or tackle Follower dungeons. Or, if you’re feeling nostalgic, hopping into Classic content can shake things up! Just remember that in Retail, healing is designed to be more straightforward.
As a low-level healer, I often switch to dealing damage while still healing. It really keeps things engaging for me. If the tank is solid, you can pretty much get away with it!
You can always tell the tank to pull bigger packs to make it a bit more challenging. It doesn’t change the fact that you’ll be mostly just healing at the endgame, but at least you might have more to do in the moment.
One way I spice things up is by trying to out-DPS the other damage dealers while keeping the party alive. It’s like a fun challenge where I get to feel like a god! Plus, it definitely keeps the gameplay interesting.
