I’m currently getting lost in RPGs, specifically FFXII. For those of you who face gaming ability constraints, I’d love to hear what games you’re enjoying right now! Any recommendations for those of us who might struggle with certain controls?

If you’re into turn-based combat, give games like X-Com or Slay The Spire a go! They can be a great fit for those of us who prefer a more strategic approach without the frantic action of real-time games.
It really depends on your mobility challenges. A good friend of mine with cerebral palsy spends tons of time in PUBG and loves to joke about it! Just remember, simpler controls can make a huge difference. Casual games or ones that allow for button mapping can really help those of us with limited dexterity.
I love that you’re into FFXII! It’s a classic. Even though I don’t have a disability, I find it super enjoyable. Just wanted to let you know that I hope you’re having a blast!
Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Baldur’s Gate 3 are fantastic choices! On days I’m not feeling great, I definitely lean towards turn-based games or even retro NES stuff because it’s just simpler and less frustrating.
Right? NES games are perfect for that! They keep gameplay simple, which is sometimes just what you need.
Exactly! I can barely use one finger on my left hand, so I mapped everything to my mouse. It gets tricky with games like Helldivers 2 when the controls are too complex, though. I really wish console controllers were easier to manage!
