Hey everyone! I need some help with a tech issue I’m having. My roommate recently built me a gaming PC, and initially, everything was great. However, I’ve started to experience some serious lag whenever I launch games, especially Warframe. We’ve tried resetting the PC and even deleted all the data, only to redownload everything from Steam. Despite that, the lag continues. Is there anyone here who plays on PC and can offer some advice?

First off, check your graphics settings in Warframe. Even though the game is generally well-optimized, certain settings can really bog down performance. For example, those ultra particle effects can make things chug. Remember that when you wipe and reinstall Warframe, the settings reset to high or ultra by default for some reason. You might want to dial those down a bit.
This might sound simple, but double-check that your cooling system is plugged in properly. If it’s not working right, your PC could be overheating, which would definitely lead to lag issues.
Do you know the specs of your PC? It’d be super helpful to know what GPU, CPU, and RAM you’re working with. If you’re unsure, just check the ‘About’ section in your system settings. That info can really help pinpoint what might be causing the lag.
