Hey everyone! I recently switched from Nobara to the latest version of Manjaro and installed Steam as a Flatpak. I set up my games from my second SSD, and most things are running smoothly. However, when I try to launch Elden Ring, I encounter a frustrating network error that prevents me from playing online. I’ve dealt with this issue before and managed to fix it by changing from Proton Experimental to GEProton 9-10, but that doesn’t seem to work this time even after reinstalling the game (Elden Ring v1.16, including DLC). I’ve tried multiple Proton versions—Proton Experimental, Proton Hotfix, GEProton 9-10, and GEProton 9-25—without any luck. Dark Souls, on the other hand, runs fine in online mode. Does anyone have any ideas for how I can resolve this issue? Thanks!

Hey,
I have exactly the same problem, also switched from Nobara to Manjaro.
Have you solved the problem in the meantime?

Have you checked if you have the Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime installed? Sometimes, when you switch distributions, you might forget to install this. It can cause network issues like that. Give it a shot!
I do have it installed, but it’s from my old setup. Should I try reinstalling it to see if that helps?
