Help Needed to Identify an Old Isometric Game

-

Hey everyone! I’m hoping someone here might be able to help me identify a game from my childhood. I remember playing it either on the SEGA Genesis (Mega Drive) or SNES. It had a realistic isometric view. The main thing I recall is the protagonist waking up in a village full of strange, elf-like creatures, and when dialogues occurred, a detailed drawing of these beings would appear. Other than that, I can’t remember if it was an adventure or RPG game.

Sounds similar to ‘Landstalker’, but since you mentioned it having a sci-fi vibe with a realistic style, perhaps consider looking into ‘Shadowrun’ for the SNES. It’s got that unique blend of fantasy and technology that matches your description.

You might be thinking of ‘Shadowrun’. It fits the description with its isometric view and village setting. Plus, it’s set in a sort of sci-fi world, which might explain the elf-like characters you mentioned.
