Around 5-6 years ago, I had my Minecraft account hacked, and ever since then, I can’t access it because the email and password were all changed. I’ve contacted Mojang support, but they requested a transaction ID for verification, which I can’t seem to find. I’m really eager to jump back into the game, but I’m at a loss for how to get my account back. Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on how to find the transaction ID or what to do next? Thanks for your help!

Man, that’s a tough spot! If you’ve lost the receipt and can’t recover the ID, Mojang won’t be able to assist you either, since they need proof of purchase. Just a heads up, there are a lot of scams out there claiming they can recover accounts, so be careful! Looks like your best bet might be to buy Minecraft again if that’s an option for you.
If you bought Minecraft, the transaction ID should’ve been in your original confirmation email. If you can’t find that, unfortunately, there’s not much you can do to recover the account. You might need to just get a new copy of the game.
