So, I’m in a pretty rough spot—my Microsoft account linked to Minecraft was hacked. I’ve tried recovering it by following the steps, but it seems like it might be too late. The hacker switched my alias, changed my security info, and messed with my passkey. Now, when I try to log in with my email, it says my account doesn’t even exist anymore.
I’ve had this account since 2015, and it’s super sentimental to me because my late grandmother bought it for me. I migrated it to Microsoft back in 2021, and it’s not just any account; I’m an MVP+ on Hypixel and I worked hard to achieve level 96 over the years. Plus, I had my hardcore world and Skyblock island that I’ve spent four years building.
Is there anyone here who’s been in a similar situation? Do you think there’s a chance Microsoft can help me recover my account? I could really use some encouragement or tips right now!

Look on the bright side—your main builds are likely saved locally! That’s a relief at least. For Hypixel, though, that’s a different beast.
Hopefully, you’ll get it back! Just remember to set up the Microsoft Authenticator App once you do. It’ll help keep your account safe from future hacks.
If you can still access your original email and have your transaction ID, head over to the recovery link: https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/request/new?ticket_form_id=360001225811. It’s worth a shot!
Yeah, it can be hit or miss! Just keep trying, you might get lucky.
Just a heads up, your worlds should still be on your device. All you really need is a new account, and you can recover those worlds! But Hypixel? That’s a different story; not too sure about it.
Don’t stress too much about your hardcore world. It’s saved locally on your device, so you should still be able to access it if you create a new account. Just not sure about your Hypixel stuff though!
Has anyone actually had success with that link? I tried it once and they just suspended my account instead.
