I’m running into a problem with my join code in Destiny. It just won’t work for random players trying to join me. I’ve been using the LFG Discord, which is kind of a hassle, although I manage. Interestingly, my friends can use it just fine, but I’m having issues with others. I’ve checked my privacy settings multiple times, and they’re all set to open. A buddy of mine had a similar issue a while back that took about a year to fix itself. Is there any way I can get it to work properly?

Check your NAT settings in both your Xbox and Destiny! Make sure they are set to open. If they’re moderate, that might be the issue.
Also, don’t forget about your Xbox group and clan settings. They need to be open as well for people to be able to join you. Just another thing to check!
Have you tried checking if you have multiple accounts linked to your Bungie ID? I faced a similar issue and removing an old account fixed it for me. Might be worth a shot!
I only have my Xbox gamertag and Twitch linked. I’ve been using this account since Destiny 1; I just upgraded to the Series X. It’s tough finding groups because I can’t just have people join me.
I’ve been troubleshooting my NAT lately, and it keeps switching between open and moderate. I usually go into network settings and select a port manually to fix it, but it’s frustrating to keep doing every session!
