I’ve got a frustrating problem with my Xbox where the ‘Invite to Game’ option has completely vanished from the Xbox Guide across all games. It sounds like you’ve tried a lot already, but one thing to check is whether you’re enrolled in the Xbox Insider Program. Sometimes, bugs like this stem from being in that program. Just in case you haven’t checked this, confirm whether your Xbox account has Gamepass Core or Ultimate. If you’re using Game Sharing from another account, that could affect functionality too. But if it’s Ultimate and not shared, you should be good!
