Hey everyone! I just got my Anker Steamdeck Dock today, hoping to charge my Steam Deck and use an external screen simultaneously. However, I’m facing a significant issue with color banding and just weird colors on the external display during the boot video. I initially used an HDMI connection with a USB-C converter, which worked perfectly. Yet, when I switch to the dock, the colors seem all off. I’ve attached three images: one showing the dock’s output (which is awful), one with the USB-C output, and another screenshot of the dock output with that strange blue tint and banding. Does anyone have ideas on how to fix this? I’d rather not return it if there’s a solution!

Definitely try that setting, as color management can sometimes mess up display outputs. If that doesn’t work, check your HDMI and dock connections to make sure everything is secure. Sometimes a loose cable can cause issues like this.
You might want to try toggling the “Disable Color Management” option in the Developer settings. That helped some users with similar issues. Give it a shot and see if it improves your colors!
I found the ‘Disable Color Management’ setting, but I’m not sure how to use it. Should I just turn it on or off?
