I’m trying to figure out how to install Bully on my Linux Mint XFCE setup. I have the installer ready, but I’ve hit a snag. I watched some tutorial videos, but I couldn’t get it to work. I attempted using Lutris, but I’m unsure how to proceed with Heroic or Bottles. Whenever I try to launch the game, it says “running” for a moment and then just stops. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When you say you can’t open it through Bottles or Heroic, do you mean you can’t find where to add the installer? Check if you’re using the correct Wine version, as Bully can sometimes have issues with certain ones.
First things first, do you have the .exe file for Bully? If you’re only working with the installer, that might be part of the problem. Lutris usually expects the main executable, so make sure you have that. If the game’s not launching, double-check your settings in Lutris too, as it might not be finding the correct install path.
Have you tried seeking out any specific guides for using Lutris with Bully? Sometimes it helps to find a video that specifically addresses setup issues for this game. Also, just FYI—Bottles and Heroic have different ways of managing installs so it might be a bit of trial and error on those.
I don’t have the .exe, just the installer. I’m really stuck trying to figure this out!
