I’m on the hunt for a mobile game that completely steers clear of a bunch of things I really dislike. First off, I’m not interested in story-driven games, and I want nothing to do with wifus, Asian-style aesthetics, or elements like pay-to-win models, gacha mechanics, or luck-based progression. I also need the community to be free from heavy involvement from Indian players—that means no PUBG or Free Fire either! I’m not looking for board or card games, and I steer clear of anything that’s too childish or pandering. And definitely no Delta Force games.
On the other hand, here’s what I actually want: it should be multiplayer, packed with content, and just stick to its core theme without distracting visuals. A good, healthy community is essential, the game needs to be well-optimized, and let’s avoid any anime-centric stuff—Western themes are preferred. Plus, I want a game that’s engaging enough to warrant grinding on the leaderboards.
I’ve played a lot of multiplayer games like COD Mobile (but left because they messed up the theme), WZM, Brawl Stars, Arena Breakout, EVE Echoes, Shadow Fight 3 & 4, and War Thunder. I know I’m asking for a lot, but I’m open to suggestions—even if they might not be a perfect fit. I’ll give any recommendations a try, as long I haven’t already crossed them off my list. Oh, and just to clarify, I’m looking for something available on Android!

You might want to check out Warframe. It’s an awesome multiplayer game that’s rich in content. Just a heads-up, though, it has some light references to Japanese culture, so it might be a bit of a mixed bag for you if you’re avoiding that completely. But the gameplay is solid!
Exactly! I’d love to play it, but it’s not available on Android yet.
Black Desert Mobile could be worth your time. It’s a really engaging MMORPG, and while it has a lot of content and great community vibes, just keep in mind some aspects may still stray into the realms you don’t prefer.
I’m currently developing an RPG that’s focused on multiplayer with solid progression and leaderboards. The community is small right now, but it’s growing fast! If you’re interested, I’m running some tests on both iOS and Android. Check it out if you’re curious about new games!
For sure! But I heard it’s still not on Android, which is a bummer if you want something for mobile.
