I’m trying to access an old PS4 account that I created a while back because I have some game progress linked to it that I’d love to revisit. The issue is that my dad originally registered it with an email that no longer exists. However, I recently set up a new email with the same address. When I try to recover the account by requesting a password reset, I don’t receive anything in my inbox. I’ve attempted to use both the website and the chatbot for help, but to no avail. Without logging in, I can’t access my profile or anything related to the account. I’ve also tried several passwords, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have advice on how I can recover this account or even regain access myself?

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to hack into your own account—the security is pretty tight for a reason. It sounds like the email situation is tricky. Are you sure you have the right email? If you’ve created a new one with the same address as your old one, it could be causing issues. You might need to reach out to customer support directly to explain your situation. It might take some time, but they should be able to help you sort it out.
Every PlayStation account should have a profile name and an associated email address. If it seems like there’s no profile loading, check if the PSN account might have been set up locally without linking to the PlayStation Network fully. Getting back in could be challenging, but ensure you’re using the exact email you had before.

Yeah, I get what you’re saying. It has a name, but the profile page doesn’t load properly like my other accounts do.
