So, I was busy creating a new account in the game, but I accidentally clicked on the save slot for my main account instead. Is there any way to recover my original save?

If you haven’t loaded the game after overwriting, you might be able to force the game to corrupt the new save data by using Ctrl+F4. This could let you access your previous save file instead.

Always a bummer to lose a save! Just remember to double-check which save slot you’re using next time. If you do manage to find a recovery option, it could save a lot of headaches!

If you’re using Steam, check out the Steam Cloud saves at this link: [Steam Cloud Storage](https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage). You might find your original save there if it was synced before you overwrote it!
