I recently lost my 100-hour Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 save due to accidentally overwriting it with a new game. I was deep into the quest ‘The Lion’s Den’ with Henry at level 29 and most of my skills nearly at level 30. Has anyone made it to that part of the game and would be willing to share their save file? I really don’t want to go through all that progress again; it’s just too much time lost. Such a bummer!

It’s honestly surprising how people end up losing saves like that. I mean, when you start a new game, it literally warns you that you’re about to lose all your progress! You have to confirm everything at least twice. I get it, misclicks happen, but how do you click four times in succession without realizing?
Totally. If you’re someone who plays a lot of RPGs with a controller, you kinda start memorizing the button presses. I think the recent updates have made things worse for console players, unfortunately.
I can’t relate to your experience exactly, but I lost about 10 hours of progress after the patch hit because I couldn’t load my game since I supposedly ‘didn’t have the gold edition.’ Such a pain, right?
As for your issue, I saw someone link a save file. Not sure if it’s legit, but you might want to check out that link and see if it helps!
Yeah, it’s easy to do in the heat of the moment! Sometimes I forget to focus when I’m playing. I’ve made similar mistakes before. It’s just so annoying when the game has those similar prompts for saving, too!
