I’ve been wanting to put together a gaming PC for a while now, but I’m a bit stuck on which CPU to choose. I’m considering either the Ryzen 7 9800X3D or the Ryzen 9 7950X. If you could take a look at my build on PC Part Picker [here](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tzzXYd) and let me know if there’s anything terrible about it, I’d really appreciate any suggestions!

For gaming, the 7950X might not be the best bang for your buck since most games don’t really need more than 8 cores. I’d recommend going for the X3D models instead; they are usually better optimized for gaming performance.
I checked out your part list, and while everything looks pretty solid, you might want to consider a more powerful motherboard and perhaps an upgraded power supply if you’re planning on future upgrades. Just something to keep in mind!
Thanks for the heads up! I’ll definitely look into better options for those components.
Thanks! Do you have a specific CPU in mind that you’d recommend?
