I just hooked up my brand new PS5 to the HDMI 1 port on my Hisense 4K TV, but it won’t let me enable both 4K and HDR in the settings. I’ve heard about something called Enhanced HDMI settings that I need to enable, but I can’t find the option when I click the menu button. Is my TV outdated, or am I missing something? Also, if I can’t get both to work, should I prioritize 1080p HDR or 4K without HDR? By the way, my TV is a 75-inch model.

In my experience, I’d take 4K without HDR any day. Not every game supports HDR, and some just don’t look as good with it. So, 4K could be the better choice for an overall experience.
You might want to try switching to a different HDMI port or even using a different HDMI cable. Sometimes, that can make all the difference!
Check if the Enhanced HDMI Setting is in the TV’s general settings instead of the picture settings. Some TVs only allow certain HDMI slots to handle 4K and HDR, so refer to your TV manual to confirm!
If your TV struggles with bandwidth, opting for 4K SDR could be your best bet. Sometimes, the gear just can’t keep up, so don’t hesitate to go for quality!
