Hey everyone, I recently made the switch to Linux on my gaming rig and I’ve been able to run most of my games without issues, but I’m stuck on Street Fighter 6. Whenever I try to launch it, I hit the play button and it says ‘launching’ for about five seconds before reverting back to the play button. I’ve tried using different versions of Proton including 8, 9, Experimental, and GE 9-25, along with various launch options I found on ProtonDB, but nothing works. My setup is OpenSUSE TW with an RX 6750 XT, and I’ve made sure that my GPU and Vulkan drivers are all up to date. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey! I just tested Street Fighter 6 and it works fine for me. I don’t use any specific launch options, just run it with `mangohud %command%` on both my Steam Deck and desktop. I’m on Proton Experimental with the bleeding edge beta enabled—this helps a lot with online games. Just a quick question, are you using the Steam client from the Flathub repository or the openSUSE repo?
I ran Steam through the terminal and encountered some unhandled exceptions when trying to launch the game. It mentioned something like ‘Could not load type of field…’ and had errors related to `Windows.Foundation.UniversalApiContract`. It seems like there might be an issue with missing dependencies or conflicts due to using the Steam client. Have you tried running any other Windows games through Proton to see if they face similar issues?
