Have Any Famiclones Been Made with Built-in Disk Drives?

-

I’m curious if anyone knows of any famiclones that actually come with a built-in disk drive. Famiclones are well-known as cheaper alternatives to Nintendo consoles, especially popular in various regions. Given the many NES hardware clones out there, it makes me wonder if the disk system itself has been replicated in any of these clones.

There have been a few options. I remember one being discussed a while back, but it doesn’t actually support the Famicom Disk System. Still, it’s an interesting project worth checking out if you’re looking for something unique! Here’s a link to the discussion I saw: [link].

Haha, I actually made one on a rainy afternoon just for fun! It was more of a DIY project, but it was cool to experiment with.

The Sharp Twin Famicom is a notable example here! It’s not exactly a famiclone, though, since it’s a licensed Nintendo product. But if we’re talking about official hardware, that’s probably your best bet.
