I recently gave fishing a shot during the Lode Bearing event and it actually worked! Has anyone else tried it, and if so, what did you catch?

You can fish in quite a few places like the pond in front of the shack during the Encryptid event. It’s awesome how versatile it is!

Yes, you can fish during Lode Bearing! I caught the Ashen Ambusher, but I initially thought it didn’t count towards the fishing challenge. Turns out it actually does give you credit!

I was fishing in the Bolton Greens swimming pool during Distinguished Quests. Makes for a pretty unique fishing spot!

I actually fished during the Tunnel of Love event too – that was a nice surprise! Can’t believe it works in some of these areas.

Fishing during events totally reminds me of those days in WoW when people would fish in Alterac Valley instead of focusing on the battle. It’s kind of funny!
