Has Anyone Played New Gods of Mankind with Fewer Domains?

-

I recently started playing an RPG called New Gods of Mankind, where each player embodies a god with one primary domain and three secondary ones. I’m curious if anyone has tried playing it with fewer secondary domains. How did that work out for you? I want my players to start a bit underdeveloped, picking up new domains as the game progresses. Any thoughts on how this might play out?

I looked up New Gods of Mankind after seeing your post, and it seems pretty cool! I couldn’t find it for sale; do you have any recommendations on where to get it?

I found a link to the DriveThruRPG listing, should have everything you need there!

I haven’t played New Gods of Mankind, but it sounds intriguing! If you want your players to have room for growth, starting with fewer secondary domains could work well. It might create a more focused character development experience. Just make sure everyone is on board with this approach; it can really change the game dynamics.

That makes sense! I think starting smaller can lead to more character depth in the long run.
