Hey folks! I recently acquired my friend’s old PC and upgraded a few components, including swapping out an old NZXT AIO for a 360mm Kraken and upgrading the GPU from a GeForce 1660ti 6GB to a GeForce RTX 5060ti 8GB. After doing all the installations myself, I took it to Microcenter for diagnostics since I’m facing constant crashes during matches in games like Siege X and Ready or Not. They checked that all my drivers and BIOS are up to date and ensured everything was properly installed. Despite all that, I’m still encountering crashes, even when running these games on low settings and capping the frame rate. I’ve also tried everything from allowing the app through ransomware protection to reinstalling the games and validating all files. Interestingly, I can play Valorant on high graphics without any issues, and the technician couldn’t replicate the crashes using Cyberpunk 2077 for benchmarking. Can anyone else relate to this problem or have ideas on how to resolve it? Thanks in advance!

It might be worth looking into your power supply unit (PSU). Sometimes, if it’s underpowered or faulty, it can cause random crashes during intense gaming sessions. What PSU are you using?
Your RAM overclock could be causing instability as well. If the settings are too aggressive, it can lead to crashes. Have you tried running your RAM at stock speeds to see if that helps?
Thanks for the tip! I’m new to PCs—how would I go about adjusting that? Any guides you recommend? I’ve got everything at factory settings as a tech at Microcenter suggested.
I’m using a LianLi gold 850W PSU. Do you think that might not be sufficient?
