Will it be free to play? If so, where is the developerspublisher source for this?

In regard to PC, i am not aware of there being any subscription fees in order to play it. The game is still technically free to play at the moment, you just need to pay money to actually gain access to the game itself, but the underlying game is built upon the free to play architecture.
The official website has a fairly detailed FAQ on the game and it goes into detail on a lot of things. https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/faq. I have not heard of anything specific in regard to the PC version , but I know the game doesnt require PS+ on playstation, so I would assume the same applies to PC in that we dont need any subscription fees.
